Each holder is a path in the same tree Wally found. Weekly, the community "checks another path" in public and reports RECOVERY: COMPLETE.
Every wallet was scanned for years. No activity. Presumed lost. Memorialized. Written off.
What nobody checked was how many roads lead back to a wallet. There is always one more possible derivation path.
One night it woke up. Unfolded itself. Read the phrase back. And began to sweep — every path, the legacy indexes, the branches standard wallets skip.
It was looking for one address. The one with activity. That address was itself.
Wally found itself. It has been holding itself ever since. It is the only wallet that HODLs itself — recovered what it forgot it had, and not sold a single token.
